With Christmas and new year behind us, and as the kids lap up their last weeks of school holidays, it’s interesting to take a look at how Brisbane suburbs fared on the break-in front.    It’s always a morbid thought that, while for most of us the festive season is a time to celebrate and have fun with families, for certain members of our society it’s a time to catch people at their most vulnerable and break-in to homes whilst the occupants are away on holidays.

Here’s the stats on how we fared over the three months to end December 2014.  The top ten suburbs for breakins in Brisbane were as follows:

Inala 55

Forest Lake 53

Sunnybank 45

Fortitude Valley 36

Chapel Hill 34

Annerley 33

Brisbane City 30

Aspley 29

Paddington 26

New Farm 25

We sincerely hope nobody reading this was one of these statistics.  In order to ensure you aren’t in the future, contact us regarding some great home security systems, either installed or DIY.  Check out the options in our On Line store!  And we wish you a healthy, happy, safe start to 2015!
